Welder: Entry Level

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Fabricators and Welders with projects.
  • Material handling.
  • Cut, drill and prep steel to be fabricated.
  • Load and unloading of material.
  • Maintain tools and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Pick up and drop off material and finished product.
  • Shop cleaning and maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Completion of a technical trade program or training program a plus.
  • Physical stamina - ability to stand all day and lift materials.
  • Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
  • Ability to read a tape.
  • Willingness to learn and follow directions.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Valid driver's license- Chauffeurs license is preferred or the ability to get one.

Fabricator/Welder

Miscellaneous Metal: Shop: We are a growing fabrication shop and we are looking to fill a first shift welder/fabricator position. This position will be responsible for a wide array of tasks including cutting, drilling, welding and painting.

Qualification needed are:

  • a minimum of 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
  • experience with GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and MSAW process
  • ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • experience in the safe operation of common shop tools, including but not limited to band saw, iron worker, bridgeport, belt sander and power tools
  • ability to lift 70 lbs
  • must have a desire to work safely and with a good attitude
  • clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen
  • AWS certification or technical school a plus, but not required
